Hello from HSA Middle!

The last day to share your voice in the U Chicago survey is this Friday, May 10! Currently, only 2% of our families have responded. We must have at least 10% of our families respond to have any report from this data. It can be accessed at http://survey.5-essentials.org/conceptschools/survey/parent/. Please enter Franklin as the county and our school, Horizon Science Academy Columbus Middle, as the school.

The remaining dates for early release are May 22, and May 28 through 31. Please make sure arrangements are made for your child's transportation.

Clubs and tutoring will finish for the year on May 17. All students will be dismissed beginning at 2:15 following that date for our last two weeks of school.

Construction will impact the parking lot in early June and then again in early July. We will share an email when the new building is open, but please know that the office will remain in the back building until late July.

For our 8th grade families, you should have gotten a letter regarding the process and expectations for students to participate in the promotion ceremony on May 30 at Upper Arlington Performing Arts Center. Please make sure you have that information before making plans for this event. Students must be passing the grade and may not have any class with an F in 4th quarter. Please let us know if you have any questions.
